We proudly offer this 1969 Van Nuys, California born Camaro; Beautifully Restored and made into an Iconic Legend**C.O.P.O.** 'Central Office Production Order' 9561 It has true meaning among many collectors and historians, able to make us mere mortals dilusional at the faint chance of seeing one first hand. Yes, the ever coveted L-72 427ci Race-Bred Monster stuffed into a pony car chassis right from the General itself is indeed stuff lengends are made of. Hence, a quality built replica of the Iconic factory drag/street/strip '69 Camaro is the next best thing to the few lucky enough to have the original Jugernaut. **This C.O.P.O. Tribute started life as a very nice X44 D80, Base without style trim V8 Camaro with Front and Rear Spoilers, and that is where the fun began. Nut and bolt the Camaro came together with the highest level of craftsmanship. The paint in Hugger Orange base / clear coat shines amazing and has also been treated to spa-like finish treatment and ceramics. The interior is an obvious continuation to the exterior, it too is superbly re-upholstered and per owner got the Houndstooth seats, re-carpeted, assembled and shows itself at a premium. The Stewart Warner Gauges are Original to a C.O.P.O. and play part with the wood rimmed steering wheel and Radio and Air Delete dash correctly devoted to attention as intended. Underhood lies the heart of this beautiful bully; A 'Correct' 1969 '512 cast block that has the .30 over treatment along with new heads, intake, and thirsty 780cfm Holley carburation (all new). Those that are familiar with this driveline know that in the low end sure to pull the advertised 425hp, but more likely closer to 475hp and even 500hp with open exhaust. The fun doesn't end there,,, It has ceramic headers with 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust, a Muncie 4-Spd, and 12-Bolt rear with 3.73:1 gears tall enough but not too tall allowing better highway travel. Though power steering was not really needed as the C.O.P.O.s were intended for straight-a-ways; Power front Disc Brakes were a must. Let's not forget that with all that power pushing you forward, evetually you need to stop and sometimes quickly. Attention to detail everywhere you look, from the impeccable engine bay proudly displaying factory inspection markings, the gorgeous paint and interior, beautifully clean trunk, and a trailer queen like undercarriage. Gotta love the steelies with derby center cap, obviously color matched in Hugger Orange as well wrapped in correct RWL Goodyear F-70s. We have ALL the historical build records for the Complete Disassembly and Reassembly nut and bolt restoration. It is an impressive 3 ring binder of receipts and detailed componentry. We offer competitive financing and worldwide shipping.
